Yash Shah

Yash is a Director on our Corporate Tax team who has a background in working with start-up, private, pre-IPO, and public companies with Domestic and International Tax services.

He is an expert in Federal and State Income Tax Compliance, ASC 740 Tax Provision, and Tax Audits.

Yash worked with a large multinational company with foreign subsidiaries planning to go public. He helped them qualify up to $2M in R&D Tax Credit and assisted with navigating their Foreign Subsidiary tax filing and disclosure needs. The client was successful in filings with the SEC and is now a publicly traded company.

He also has a successful background in helping companies that have inadvertently failed in filing international tax filings and/or disclosures. In the process, he’s helped them minimize penalties and put them on the path for future compliance.

Yash works closely with companies in the Life Science, Healthcare, Technology, and Clean Tech spaces. He also has experience working within internal tax teams at hedge funds and multinational public companies and has first-hand experience of how corporations and their accounting teams work internally, which he now uses to help BPM clients. He has also worked as an inhouse Global Tax Manager for a large Technology company where he helped establish tax processes and procedures. He also navigated and resolved tax issues in the foreign jurisdictions where the company had presence.
