Catherine has over 15 years of experience in public accounting. She started her career at one of the Big Four accounting firms and joined BPM in 2006. Catherine has experience in tax compliance and consulting for private clients with international issues, such as corporate executives living abroad, multinational families with closely-held businesses, and domestic and foreign trusts. She assists clients in the Streamlined Offshore Procedures compliance, represents clients before the IRS, and advises clients on expatriation tax matters. Catherine also assists clients with tax planning for U.S. real estate investments and individuals immigrating to or from the U.S.
Catherine Wong holds an active CPA license in California and Texas.
Catherine likes to hike. She once hiked overnight, by moonlight, through Yosemite National Park to watch the 6 a.m. sunrise at Half Dome.
