A Partner in BPM’s Advisory Practice, Terry co-leads the Firm’s Private Capital Markets effort where he guides investors through post-deal value creation initiatives in their portfolio. He and his team support mid-market companies through key points of inflection: M&A, capital raise, rapid growth and liquidity management, and turnaround / restructuring. With a deep understanding of both sell-side and buy-side M&A and private equity, Terry has responsibility for the Firm’s Ownership Transition, Outsourced CFO and Retained Search practices.

Directly prior to BPM, Terry was the Northern California Office Managing Partner for Tatum, a national professional services firm, where he had responsibilities for managing interim financial leadership projects with U.S.-based private equity firms and their portfolio companies. With 25+ years of experience as an owner / operator and consultant, Terry has parlayed his entrepreneurial background into practice leadership, practice management and project governance innovation.

Terry’s M&A experience includes buy-side and sell-side transactions totaling $7B+ of enterprise value in the B2B services, consumer, healthcare and technology sectors.

Interesting tidbit

Terry’s daughter, Olivia, was born in one of the country’s highest hospitals (elevation of about 8,000 feet). Terry serves on a nonprofit Board in San Francisco and participates in community engagement in Oakland, where he, his wife and three children live.
