Dorothea Day Silva

Dorothea Silva has more than twenty-five years of executive experience in the tax and accounting field. Dorothea is regularly involved in strategic planning with business owners and consulting on accounting transaction flows. She works closely with family-owned businesses to help owners and operators meet their business and personal goals working alongside to assist with accurate financial recording and reporting.  Dorothea also has in-depth experience serving nonprofit clients with accounting and non-profit reporting.

Dorothea assists in transitioning business ownership from one generation to the next in family-owned business. When bringing on new clients she supports with the cleanup of their general ledger, as well as getting their financial data up to date for growth readiness and management reporting. As a testament to her experience, she has worked with a reporting group consisting of 15 separate (for profit and HUD reporting) entities in preparing for their year-end audit readiness, as well as aiding in closing the books when their long-term controller suddenly left.

Dorothea Silva holds an active CPA license in California.
