Daniel is an Advisory and Assurance Partner at BPM, and a leader in BPM’s Nonprofit, Blockchain and Digital Assets and Financial Services industry groups. Daniel is BPM’s Industry Group Leader and serves on the Firm’s Management Committee. Daniel’s career started at BPM, and for over 20 years, he has helped the Firm and his clients grow and succeed.

Daniel’s nonprofit organization clients include private foundations, social enterprises, trade associations, arts and culture, advocacy and political organizations, private schools, community foundations and higher education. He works extensively with alternative investments, endowments and UPMIFA, tax-exempt debt, planned giving, partnership accounting, program-related investments, gifts-in-kind, crypto/digital currency, Single Audits and significant capital campaigns.

Daniel also brings deep knowledge in blockchain, digital assets, cryptocurrency, Web3, fintech and financial services. His experience includes trading and OTC platforms, exchanges, custodians, marketplace lenders, payments and debit cards, crypto miners, broker-dealers, CFTC-regulated entities, registered investment advisors (RIA), crypto funds, venture capital funds, private equity funds, mortgage pools and hedge funds.

Daniel is a nationally recognized speaker and presenter. He actively presents for the AICPA, CalCPA and other conferences and trade associations on various topics, including blockchain, planned giving, credit losses, endowments, capital campaigns, and others.

Daniel Figueredo holds an active CPA license in California and New York.
