MicroPact Awarded Contract To Deploy entellitrak as Correspondence Management System for Department of Veterans Affairs

New System Provides Streamlined Process for Managing Correspondence Across Agency

HERNDON, Va., Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- MicroPact, a leading provider of enterprise case management and business process management (BPM) software, is pleased to announce that entellitrak has been selected as an enterprise Correspondence Management System for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of the Secretary of the VA (OSVA).

The contract was awarded through a partnership with Harris Corp. HRS +0.44% , an international communications and IT company serving government and commercial organizations.

The entellitrak Correspondence Management System will be used throughout the VA to manage all correspondence between the organization and veterans and their families, as well as other government officials and organizations, including congressional, state and local leaders. The system will support the VA Central Office (VACO), Veterans Heath Administration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and the National Cemetery Administration (NCA).

"Our Data-First approach makes the entellitrak platform an ideal solution for Veterans Affairs," said Kris Collo, CEO, President and Founder of MicroPact. "By implementing the entellitrak Correspondence Management System, the VA will be able to hit the ground running and quickly realize a significant return on their investment. The agency provides vital services to our nation's veterans and their families. We are proud to partner with Harris Corp. in order to play a role in keeping the VA team members connected to the people they serve."

The VA receives thousands of inquiries and requests each day. Without a dynamic case management solution, the VA faced a growing backlog of unanswered queries. The entellitrak solution will provide a broad range of capabilities for tracking incoming correspondence from initial receipt to the final response. This will allow the VA to improve response times and ensure accurate and efficient communication to veterans and their families.

In addition to the VA implementation, the entellitrak platform is used by hundreds of federal agencies and bureaus including the Department of Defense, the Department of Treasury and the Department of Homeland Security.
