SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Builders Design, a Maryland-based interior design firm specializing in model home and multi-family interiors, will deploy Promapp’s cloud-based business process management (BPM) software to streamline business processes and capture day-to-day operational information in a standard format.
“With our rapid growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, and the addition of new employees and a larger number of outside contractors, we identified the need for a process management tool like Promapp to capture institutional knowledge, and speed up the learning curve for new employees,” says Jon Nash, President and COO of Builders Design.
“Promapp provides a straight-forward approach to managing all of our business processes,” Nash continues. “After testing Promapp’s software, we immediately recognized that it would improve the clarity, accessibility, and consistent execution of our processes.”
Builders Design was in the process of vetting whether to have a customized BPM solution designed when it turned to Promapp. “The custom product was quickly becoming an overwhelming and expensive project for our firm, but we couldn’t find anything that met all of our requirements – easy to use, visually appealing, a central repository for all of our forms, processes and procedures, cloud-based, and a tool for onboarding and training – until we tested Promapp. We immediately knew it would be a game changer,” Nash explains.
Builders Design will deploy Promapp’s BPM software in October, with plans for a 60-90-day rollout to employees and contractors.
Promapp was recently recognized as one of the five Hot Vendors in Business Process Management 2017 in a report prepared by Aragon Research. The report, which highlights providers with interesting, cutting-edge products, services, and technology, notes, “Promapp’s secret sauce is its ability to be easy enough for beginners and business teams to be successful pretty quickly. The collaborative nature is a key feature, along with the ability to manage change and process variants.”
“Increasingly, businesses like Builders Design are recognizing that business process improvement is something that requires sustained momentum, and that lengthy procedure manuals and Visio charts no longer work,” says Promapp CEO Ivan Seselj. “Increased process management discipline and new tools are being introduced in organizations of all sizes and across all vertical markets to enable teams to collaborate, innovate, and find ways to boost productivity and effectiveness. This is fueling Promapp’s rapid, global growth.”
