Experience, Learn and Earn Program

Giving graduates the opportunity to earn credit hours while working

BPM is participating in Experience, Learn and Earn (ELE), a program by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). This initiative provides accessible and affordable online courses to accounting graduates, helping them meet their educational requirements for CPA licensure, as they work as first-year hires.

ELE enables participants to earn up to 30 of the 150 credit hours of education needed for licensure, all while earning a paycheck from BPM. Our flexible schedule ensures you have time to study while gaining valuable real-life experience. At BPM, we’re committed to your success in both work and life!

We’re invested in your success.

Whether you’re still in school, new to the workforce or simply new to the professional services world, we have plenty of opportunities for you to explore your interests while you gain experience.

At BPM, you’re not just earning credits or building your resume. Our goal is to help you learn the profession and hone your skills in a supportive environment full of people who care about your success.

Our internships are primarily remote, with opportunities to be in-person if you’re local to our office.

Internship opportunities

Audit Internship

A nine-week summer internship for students working toward their CPA license. You’ll work with multiple teams, clients and industry groups, and complete assignments throughout your time with us.

Tax Internship

We host tax internships twice a year, in the winter and summer. The winter program is designed for undergraduate and master’s candidates who are not in classes for the winter semester. It runs from January through the April tax deadline, offering exposure to a wide range of tax work.

The summer program is for students actively pursuing eligibility for a CPA license. During this nine-week program, you will work with different teams on client projects, getting an inside look at what it’s like to work as a tax professional.

Outsourced Accounting Internship

This internship is for CPA-focused students whose interests extend beyond tax or audit to include business advisory. You’ll join our Advisory practice, helping to provide consulting services to small, owner-run businesses. You’ll explore a variety of business enterprise areas, including bookkeeping, tax consulting, compilations and review services.

IT Assurance Internship

This program is open to students actively pursuing their undergraduate degree in Information Systems (AIS/MIS) and CISA certification. It’s a part-time internship offered throughout the year with no deadline for applying. You’ll work with our IT Assurance team, contributing to projects related to information security assessment, telework and remote access security and SOC readiness.

Advisory Internship

BPM’s Advisory internships offer students the ability to explore a variety of specialties, including business valuation, ERP implementation and transaction advisory. Interns work directly with our teams to learn the ins and outs of servicing clients in a consulting role.
