As we watch the Covid-19 crisis unfold I cannot help but think that we are still five minutes into a 24 hour poker game.
Long after the curve has flattened and the stimulus checks have been cashed we will continue to feel that after shocks of Covid-19.
The phrase I've been hearing lately is that this is a "once in a lifetime" event. It's also a once in a lifetime opportunity to get healthcare on a trajectory that will enable us to take on the much larger global challenges that we will inevitably face.
To get ready for the May 26th launch of Reimagining Healthcare take a look at this video that talks about how the Ten Culprits, which I describe in the book, have contributed to our inability to respond to Covid-19 anywhere near as effectively as we should have.
There's work to be done if we have the courage and resolve to do it.
