Plug-in for Microsoft® Visio® 2010 Premium Recognized as “Technology Breakthrough”

DALLAS – SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 – Global 360, a leading provider of Process and Document Management solutions, today announced that the company's next generation business process modeling and analysis tool, analystView 3.0, has been chosen by KMWorld Magazine as a Trend-Setting Product of 2010. This is the third consecutive year that Global 360 has been recognized by the magazine for its ability to help customers define their business process strategy, as well as analyze, improve, and gain visibility into processes.

In determining which products to include on KMWorld's eighth annual list, more than 600 products were assessed by KMWorld’s judging panel, consisting of editorial colleagues, analysts, system integrators, vendors, line-of-business managers and users. According to KMWorld, the products selected all demonstrate clearly identifiable technology breakthroughs that serve all of the vendors’ constituencies, especially their customers. The full list of trend-setting products can be found at http://www.kmworld.com/Articles/Editorial/Feature/KMWorld-Trend-Setting-Products-of-2010-69565.aspx.

KMWorld editor-in-chief Hugh McKellar noted, “As we do every year, we focused on knowledge management products that truly deliver customer value. analystView 3.0 stood out because it’s a powerful tool that enables organizations to enhance an existing technology investment to boost productivity and ROI by improving the way their work gets done.”

Noted Scott Helmers, Microsoft Visio MVP and Partner with the Harvard Computing Group, “analystView is an exceptionally well-designed Visio add-in that offers sophisticated process simulation capabilities to Visio users. It’s no longer necessary to create a flowchart in Visio and then wonder whether you might be able to improve the process. Now you can test, change, and test again, until your simulated process achieves your organizations' goals.”

analystView 3.0 provides business analysts and Microsoft® Visio Premium 2010® users with intuitive and integrated business process modeling and analytics. It enables organizations to better optimize investment and resource allocation by offering:

·         Shared understanding – Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) based models provide a common language for building models and collaborating on process improvement across the enterprise.

·         Improved collaboration and recommendations - Process discovery, modeling optimization, and validation as well as SharePoint® Server 2010 and Visio Services integration make it easy to agree on the best process improvement recommendations.

·         Faster automation - XPDL support makes it easy to automate processes inside a business process management suite.

A free trial of analystView 3.0 is now available, and can be purchased through September 15, 2010, at a promotional price of $349. For more information and to evaluate or purchase, visit

"It’s an honor to receive such high praise from KMWorld and the community," said Deborah Rosen, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Global 360. "Our strategy with analystView is to help people leverage Microsoft Visio Premium 2010 – the tool that people know and use every day – to now define processes, collaborate with others, quantify the results, and easily automate processes inside a business process management suite. By sharing process maps and what-if scenario simulation results through integration with SharePoint 2010’s process repository, business analysts can improve recommendations for process improvement and gain greater buy-in across the business.”

In June 2010 Global 360 was named to KMWorld Magazine's first Hall of Fame, recognized for "understanding that processes drive the business" and for its persona-based approach to BPM, which addresses the needs of all participants in a process.  Global 360 was also recently named one of KMWorld's 100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management for the fourth time in the past six years.
